Convergence
For over 20 years, Church Venture Northwest has been committed to helping local churches surface and train their next generation of pastors and leaders.
Convergence is a cohort-based training designed as a hybrid model rooted in the local church with subject matter experts and practitioners. We benefit from cooperating with Western Seminary and local pastors who excel in their craft. Through a three-year pastoral training program that works alongside the local church, we have successfully raised over a hundred leaders who have made a difference in the Pacific Northwest.
When will the cohorts meet?
Convergence is intended to follow the academic school year with intensives in September, November, January, March and May*. We anticipate offering two summer electives concentrating on specific ministries, i.e., preaching, youth ministry, worship, etc. The length of each intensive will be two and a half days (Monday - Wednesday), except for summer electives, which may require more time.

Tuition
Each intensive costs $1000, with 15 compulsory courses (over three years) required to complete Convergence. Electives will be of the student's choice with additional cost incurred.
- Housing, breakfast, and lunch will be provided.
- Students will be responsible for purchasing any required materials.
Tuition Requirements
We require that the Participant's Church agrees to support the Participant by covering at least 50% of their tuition. Any tuition payments from the Participant should be made directly to their church. All billing will go directly to the church. The church will be responsible for making tuition payments. The church can pay tuition in full or can set up a per intensive payment plan. Payments can be made through our online portal or by mail.

- Section 4: Your Personal Identity in Relation to God and His People
- Section 5: Integrated class/project integrating God, His People and You
Year Two
- Section 6: Spiritual Formation
- Section 7: God's Model of a Family
- Section 8: God's Family Has a DNA and its Primarily Love (Love vs. Power vs. Fear)
- Section 9: What Does it look like to practice plurality in your home, church, and leaders?
- Section 10: Integrated project: what does it look like to have a spiritual model of family/team?
Year Three
- Section 11: Cruciformity (Living a Dying to Self-Life)
- Section 12: What is the Nature of Servant Leadership?
- Section 13: Loving through Direction and Correction
- Section 14: How do you form the roles to execute your community? What does a catalytic/priestly leader look like?
- Section 15: How do we integrate that leader with our target audience?
